Yoga is being considered more and more by pregnant women as an alternative preparation for labor, as it not only helps to improve flexibility, but it also provides benefits that can be utilitzed the day of the delivery.
The future mother will learn to better accept her physical and emotional changes, to breathe properly, to release tension, and to gain energy, tranquility, and vitality, through stretching, breathing exercises, and meditation. If this is your first time practicing yoga, it is recommended that you wait until the third month of your pregnancy to start classes, with your doctor’s recommendation.
To attend the yoga classes it is advised that you wear loose comfortable clothing, and you wait 2 hours after ingesting food.
