Lotus Blau is a non-profit foundation founded in 1999 in Colorado, by David Urgeles and Jordana Goldstein. Lotus Blau Mataró Spain was later created in 2000. Lotus Blau promotes self-knowledge, which can be achieved through the many paths of Yoga. All classes and therapies are conducted at Lotus Blau, while outside projects have taken place in prisons, schools, and nursing homes.

Lotus Blau Philosophy Lotus Blau follows the philosophy of Integral Yoga, incorporating the different paths of yoga into one practice. We combine the postures of Hatha Yoga, control of the mind through Raja Yoga, selfless service through Karma Yoga, and study and philosophy through Jnana Yoga. Our philosophy synthesizes both Eastern and Western thought. At Lotus Blau we seek to inspire, motivate, energize, support, educate, and heal, while creating a sanctuary for those who want to stop and look inside, to gain a more profound awareness, and to find peace.

Our Foundation’s Projects Lotus Blau is a non-profit foundation that promotes the education of the paths of yoga as a means of personal growth. We have conducted numerous projects since 1999, such as teaching toddlers Hatha Yoga, a correspondence yoga education program for death row inmates, yoga programs for senior citizens in nursing homes, and for teenage girls in juvenile detention centers, raising money for orphanages in Ethiopia, and educating our students on important current issues such as the banning of genetically modified foods.
