Private consultations in Applied Philosophy are not a type of psychotherapy. These sessions integrate ideas from both Eastern and Western philosophy. Through this process the first objective is to help us become aware, meaning to become more conscious of the difference between thoughts and actions, and to become aware of a more profound reality.
These sessions can help us find a natural balance. Every day we are given more opportunities to know ourselves. It is important to not get stuck in achieving the goal, but more importantly, to understand the process. Through this work, we can open our eyes to a greater consciousness so that we can become fully functional and in this way we can face even more subtle tendencies that are masked by a personality that functions on automatic pilot, causing imbalances and suffering.
Through these consultations we can connect more and more on a personal, social, and spiritual level. This connection not only deals with creating life changes, living with greater contentment, and having a fuller life, but it is a connection that brings us closer to a greater consciousness so that we can have internal peace, an internal peace that comes from being fully connected with the ‘I Am’. This path helps us move from
thoughts to actions, weaknesses to strength, limitations to freedom, chaos to order, sleepwalking to consciousness, illusion to reality.
With Applied Philosophy, we deal with topics such as, Who am I? Why do I suffer? Why am I here? What is my place? What is real and what is illusion? And why do I blame others for what happens to me?
