This is the path for those who have a more emotional nature, are more inclined to devotion, and can easily connect with the emotion of love. Chanting of a devotional nature plays an important role in the more classical Bhakti Yoga. The Bhakti yogi can use this practice to open the heart to all that is around, seeing the divine in nature, of which human nature is an integral part. Bhakti can be a path used in conjunction with the practice of Jnana Yoga, uniting to form a path that is both mental and emotional in nature. Bhakti Yoga can also go along with Karma Yoga, as both paths imply giving of oneself and an opening of the heart. Bhakti ultimately is a surrender, the surrendering of a more profound part of us, which transforms the emotional mind into unconditional love.
